University Commons Child Care Center opened in the Fall of 1993. A unique feature of the Center is its location inside a nursing care facility.

Capitalizing on studies that show how children and seniors can benefit from each other’s presence, the child care center has a program that brings residents and children together on a regular basis for joint activities, games, readings and socialization. Unique in the Worcester area, this program offers a positive and stimulating experience for children and residents alike.
