The children are very excited about the garden. We plant peas, beans, gourds, sunflowers and marigolds in peat pots, inside the classrooms.
We look forward to the many interesting projects to do with the garden. Thank you to families for donating seeds, tools, soil, fertilizer (natural) and equipment.
Toddlers participate in gardening, too. Our "little gardeners" will be planting edible, fragrant herbs in hanging planters, to beautify our fence!
Kindergym is a dance and gross motor class led by an early childhood dance professional. Preschool classes meet 30 minutes, once a week and then classroom teachers incorporate activities in the curriculum.
Apple Tree Arts is a music education program for toddlers and preschoolers, providing them with rhythmic and tonal exercises, multicultural music and creative movement activities. The 30 minute program is led by a certified ECMMA music teacher.
Kindergym and Apple Tree Arts are included in the daily tuition rates.
